Monday, April 1st, 2024: Attention families, staff, and stakeholders: Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Elementary School will hold an ARP Fund Consultation meeting on Monday, April 1st, at 3:30 pm in the school library. The short meeting will outline how funds from the American Rescue Funds are allocated throughout our school. Parents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

Friday, February 16th, 2024: Attention Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse families: the school will be closed for President's Day on Monday, February 19th, and mid-winter break Monday through Friday, February 23rd. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, February 26th.

Friday, December 22nd, 2023: School's out! It's time to swap textbooks for snowballs! Unleash the magic of the holiday season. Winter break begins today, December 22nd, and runs through Monday, January 1st. We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, January 2nd!

Our Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru is Wednesday, December 20th, from 5-6 pm! Please drive down Keen Place to see #CSASCS Elementary School teachers sing, dances from our Pom Dance Team, and receive a gift bag for all children in your car. 

We look forward to seeing your family on Wednesday. 

On Tuesday, November 28th, 2023: Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse will face Syracuse Academy in a historic boys modified basketball game. Not only is this a game between our two schools, but it’s also the first game between two Alumni who are head coaches for both schools that graduated from SAS. Coach McGriff and Coach Tape were also members of the State title team in 2011.

This is a pivotal moment in SANY’s history. Support the Atoms and show your SANY pride tomorrow at 4:30 pm in the Citizenship Elementary School gym!

Tuesday, November 21st, 2023: Did your student miss Picture Day? Are you not happy with the original package? Photo Make Up Day at Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Elementary School is Tuesday, November 28th. Please have your scholar bring their original photos with them. This is the last chance for your student to get their picture taken this school year.

Friday, November 10th, 2023: In Honor of Veteran's Day, there is no school today, Friday, November 10th. We are showing our appreciation to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Let's take a moment to honor the sacrifices and remember that freedom is never free. We are forever thankful for those who have served and given us the freedom to thrive.

Monday, September 11th, 2023: Today, we remember the victims and heroes of 9/11. We recognize the selfless actions of the first responders who put their lives on the line to save others. We remember the bravery of the passengers on Flight 93, who put their lives at risk to protect citizens on the ground. We recognize the tragedy and grief of all those who lost loved ones on that fateful day. 

Take some time for reflection on this day that changed our nation forever. Let us always remember.
