- 211 is a helpful starting point where you can find local services and resources that are available to you.
- Contacting 211 CNY is free, confidential, and accessible 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. For every contact, we assess a client’s needs, asking questions and anticipating things he or she may not even be aware are needed or available. Then we provide referrals from our up-to-date resource database of over 6,000 services. For certain situations we provide follow-up or care coordination to assist people in receiving the services and overcoming barriers such as transportation, documentation, and more.

Salvation Army Food Pantry

- Located at the back of the building which is actually 100 Linden Street. Bright red door, you can't miss it.
- 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday
- Food and diapers
- Anyone over the age of 17 will need a picture ID.
- The head of the household will need proof of residency, any mail less than 30 days ago.
- Anyone under 17 will need identification as well. This could be a birth certificate, social security card, or even a report card would work.
- As long as they have that information the application is super quick and will take maybe 2 min and they will get the stuff they need.

SUNY Upstate Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic
- Provides mental health counseling and medication management to individuals ages 18 years and younger.
- Eligibility: Children and adolescents up to age 17
- Enter through Upstate University Hospital Emergency Department and explain concerns
Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP)
- Serves Onondaga and Madison counties, and visitors to the Greater Syracuse area. CPEP is located at St. Joseph’s Hospital, is fully staffed 24/7, and provides evaluation and treatment for individuals of all ages who are suffering from an acute mental health crisis.

- Crisis Connect is a 24/7 central triage line for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis or concern. It connects to services including mobile crisis, crisis respite, peer/warm lines, and information resources.
