Orders can take up to 14 business days. Any orders received after August 18th might be delivered after the start of the school year.

Tuesday, July 11th, 2023: Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, Staff, and Stakeholders: the Science Academies of New York will hold a public hearing session for the district-wide school safety plan open to all school personnel, students, and the public.
Please note that the public hearing sessions will be held at 10:00 AM on August 9th at the SANY Conference Center at 1415 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. You can also join virtually via Zoom; please see Zoom details below.

Monday, July 3rd, 2023: Did you know your child can have access to healthy meals and snacks when school is not in session? The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program. Children 18 years and younger may receive free meals and snacks through SFSP. Children receive either one or two reimbursable meals at most sites each day. Certain camps and locations may be approved to serve up to three meals a day.

Saturday, May 13th, 2023: Do you know a 5-year-old who likes to have fun?! We are hosting a 5-year-old Fun Fest on Saturday, May 13th, from 1-4 pm. This event is for new families who want to apply to Citizenship Academy in our Kindergarten classrooms for September 2023. Fun fest is free and will feature face painting, a visit from a fire truck, arts & crafts, and tours of our school. We are located at 301 Valley Dr. in Syracuse.

Monday, April 3rd, 2023: Happy Spring Recess! This is a friendly reminder that Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse will be closed from Monday, April 3rd, through Friday, April 7th, for Spring Recess. We look forward to welcoming Atoms back on Monday, April 10th.

Thursday, March 9th, 2023: The Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Athletic Department will have a preseason information meeting for the upcoming Lacrosse season on Thursday, March 9th. Coach Romano and our Athletic Director, Mr.McGriff, will give a presentation. Our Lacrosse program is open to all grades at CSAS. The event will be held from 5:30-6:00 pm at our elementary school on 301 valley drive, Syracuse. Parents should attend the meeting with their student-athlete scholar. Tuesday, February 21st, 2023: Governor Kathy Hochul is taking action to give New York State families access to fair and affordable learning opportunities. Please help us reach out to our legislators to keep funding for charter schools in the executive budget. Take a minute to sign this letter for the Governor and support public charter school education.
