Tuesday, June 14th, 2022—With one week left of school, what more can you do? Why have the best day ever, of course, with a Field Day! Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school students participated in a Field Day event to celebrate their hard work and the end of the school year.
Complete with activities for students of all ages and abilities, Atoms could choose from indoor or outdoor games, water activities, team-building games, and more. On a scorching hot summer day, some of these activities included: making their own slime, getting their faces painted, carnival bounce houses, playing various games, water relay activities, stream machines, and even a teacher dunk tank! In addition to the Field Day activities, students also enjoyed a special cookout where they could have lunch outside with their friends.
We want to thank all the teachers, faculty, and staff who helped coordinate, plan, and make this event possible. This day will inevitably go down as one of the best days ever for the Atoms!
