A Teacher who Embodies A Positivity In Action Mindset

Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship teacher, Mrs. Badman embodies a ‘Positivity in Action’ mindset both inside and outside the classroom.

Tuesday, December 1st, 2020Mrs. Badman is a teacher who certainly embodies a ‘Positivity in Action’ mindset when it comes to her students and their families. This past week, the students have been learning about the character strength, kindness and how they too can show kindness through their thoughts, words and actions. Leading by example, it's the little things in life that really go above and beyond to express kindness, caring and appreciation. Each day, Mrs. Badman reaches out to her students and their families either through a phone call or a simple text message to show her token of appreciation and that she was thinking of them. This simple gesture goes a long way to build a positive relationship not only with the students but families as well, especially when this year has been challenging for most. Thank you, Mrs. Badman for all that you do for Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship Atoms!
