A Sweet Fractions Lesson for 3rd & 4th Grade Atoms

Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship fourth grade students use their creative thinking skills to find the solution to their math problem using fractions.

Thursday, February 4th, 2021The third and fourth grade students at Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school think outside the box when solving math equations with fractions with a little sweet treat - Hershey's Bars. Students learn about finding the lowest common denominator, how to add and subtract fractions to solve math problems. While fractions may be challenging for some, the Atoms rated this learning experience as a 10/10 or 100% fun! Such a sweet lesson.
