28 Speakers in 28 Days: Higher Education

Monday, February 8th, 2021—In early February, Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school welcomed two higher education virtual guest speakers for its 28 Speakers in 28 Days event. The guest speakers included Syracuse University Law Professor, Lavonda Reed and a Lincoln University student, Tamara Chalmers.

Lavonda and Tamara were both fountains of wisdom and knowledge. They shared with the Atoms the value and importance of education and more specifically college education. They also shared why it is important to keep and open-mind when trying new things and never taking time for granted.
