28 Speakers in 28 Days: First Responders

Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship welcomed two first responders who spoke virtually to the Atoms for its 28 Speakers in 28 Days event. Speakers included: Army Sergeant Aaron Lamontagne and Ranette Releford

Wednesday, February 11th, 2021Continuing with Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school's 28 Speakers in 28 Days event, Atoms welcomed two first responder virtual guest speakers -Army Sergeant Aaron Lamontagne and Ranette Releford.

Sergeant Aaron Lamontagne spoke with the 3rd grade Atoms about his career in the military, various duties, training with the military and the roles and responsibilities he had while serving with the Army. Thank you, Sergeant Aaron for your service!

Ranette Releford  spoke with our students about her career working closely with the police department during investigations and ensuring that all parties involved uphold their job responsibilities. Ms. Releford also shared her experience of running for Onondaga County Legislature.

Thank you, to both of our virtual guest speakers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to share valuable wisdom and insight with the Atoms.
