Things Get a little Slimy in the 2nd Grade

Tuesday, June 15th, 2021—Dare we say that things got a little ‘slimy’ at Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school when the Atoms were left with glue, baking soda and a little saline solution to create their very own slime. For their hands-on, minds-on science experiment, students were tasked with using each of those ingredients to make the perfect slime that had great texture, elasticity, was flexible and of course looked cool - just like the Atoms! Fun, laughter and excitement were had by all with this classic DIY science experiment.
