Hands-On Animal Adventure for Atoms at Fort Rickey

Friday, June 21, 2019—Atoms get an up close look, hands-on experience with exotic and domestic animals from all around the world during a field trip to Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo. Students cuddle with the ever popular African Pygmy Goats in their Petting Zoo area, fed some super social Fallow Deer, watched a Peacock show its beautiful tail feathers with blue and gold hues, and they even touched (and some held) a slithering snake! Following the animal adventure, Atoms let their wild side out at the Wild Creatures Playland, crawled through a ginormous ball crawl and bounced on a giant Jumbo Jumper Pillow Bounce.
