Atoms Reach New Heights With Corning, Inc. Engineer

Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school’s 5th and 6th-grade Atoms learn about making and launching a successful rocket from Corning, Inc. engineer, Timothy Tremba.

Thursday, June 2nd, 20223, 2, 1 BLAST OFF! Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school's 5th and 6th-grade Atoms soar to new heights thanks to Corning, Inc. engineer Timothy Tremba and daughter Taylor. 

In preparation for the MOST's Rocket Challenge, Atoms learned from Mr. Tremba his love for rocketry and best practices that will help ensure their making and launching a successful rocket. 

It's safe to say this was a 'blast' not only for the Atoms but for Mr. Tremba and Taylor as we all soared to great heights together. Thank you, Mr. Tremba and Taylor, for taking time out of your schedule to visit, speak and teach the Atoms about rockets' science and engineering.
